When was the last time your attitude of gratitude for every spiritual gift has resulted in acts of mercy, grace, and love demonstrated through feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless and praying for the hurting? When one is overcome by gratitude his or her natural inclination is to give back to God.

Philippians 4:6

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (ESV)

Colossians 1:13-14

13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (ESV)

Luke 17:16-18

16 and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. 17 Then Jesus answered, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? 18 Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” (ESV)
