Sermons and Studies

Rev. Larry Rice is a preacher and bible teacher whose vision has long been to connect the faith of the average church goer to the real needs of people in crippling financial situations. He has long maintained that to believe that all men and women are made in the image of God but to leave them caught in an unjust system that rewards the greedy should be unconscionable.

Don't Miss Jesus for the Manger
(Luke 2:6-7, Matthew 11:25, Philippians 2:8)

Preacher: Chris Rice
Part of the Topical Studies series, preached at a Friday Afternoon service.

It takes great faith to be obedient to God when you are unsure of yourself. None of us can say with certainty how our obedient actions will be understood and interpreted in days to come. We can want more than anything to be understood, accepted, loved, and welcomed by others. This often gets in the way of being obedient to God. During the seasons of Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany we can find wisdom to understand ourselves in God's story from his servants in the Scriptures. Advent: means coming.
