Sermons and Studies

Rev. Larry Rice is a preacher and bible teacher whose vision has long been to connect the faith of the average church goer to the real needs of people in crippling financial situations. He has long maintained that to believe that all men and women are made in the image of God but to leave them caught in an unjust system that rewards the greedy should be unconscionable.

Dream The Impossible Dreams
(Philippians 4:13, Matthew 20:25-28, Luke 1:52-53)

Preacher: Larry RiceLarry Rice
Part of the Topical Studies series, preached at a Friday Afternoon service.

As we get older, disappointment after disappointment can pile upon each other until we become so disillusioned we are incapable of dreaming. As a result we start living in a hopeless rut called life. Such an existence has little or no expectations. Such a rut is actually a grave with both ends knocked out.

But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, 28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (ESV)

Luke 1:52-53

52 he has brought down the mighty from their thrones
and exalted those of humble estate;
