Sermons and Studies

Rev. Larry Rice is a preacher and bible teacher whose vision has long been to connect the faith of the average church goer to the real needs of people in crippling financial situations. He has long maintained that to believe that all men and women are made in the image of God but to leave them caught in an unjust system that rewards the greedy should be unconscionable.

Celebrating Christmas
(Matthew 1:21, Hosea 10:13, Luke 1:13, 2 Corinthians 5:17)

Preacher: Larry RiceLarry Rice
Part of the Topical Studies series, preached at a Friday Afternoon service.

Description:

Christmas is the story of God's mercy, which is new every morning through Christ. I was meditating on that last week, as the minister on the radio was sharing from Lamentations 3:23, where it says God's mercy is new every morning. Then he went on to talk about how much mercy God has shown us by multiplying the number of years we are old by 365 days for each year. He said that number is the minimum amount of mercy God has shown us in our lives.
